Well the primary season is over and we have our two candidates, Obama and McCain. Some choice.
The choice for me is not easy, I don't like either one. Obama the socialist or McCain the liberal conservative. You make the call. If you want a black man there are many more qualified than Obama that I could easily have voted for. I would love to have Walter Williams and then I wouldn't have had to choose the lesser of two evils. Larry Elder would have been great.
Lets talk about oil, and why everyone is not revolting about this, $4.00 and counting with no end in sight. Here is my solution:
1. Open up the oil reserves
2. Build more refineries. Finally we are getting one in South Dakota. Too late, but better late than never
3. Start drilling our asses off. We have Red China drilling off the coast of Florida, it should be us.
4. Keep working on alternative fuels. Build Nuclear plants. (Sorry George, Nucular)
5. Issue more licensing to more companies so we have some competition
6. ANWR
I know, I can hear the uproar now, "What about global warming?" Find the guy who stopped the melting of the glaciers after the Ice age and see how he did it. What caused the glaciers to recede that time, oh yes, I remember, methane from flatulent Mastodons
Why is it Obama and McCain don't want to do anything about this problem? I guess they figure if they take the same stance we can't do anything about it and we have to vote for one of them.
This is a manufactured crisis and they are sticking it to us. I guess I'll write in "None of the above." Somebody enlighten me, where am I wrong?
